ISO certificates were obtained for Berth 10 and Berth 11 in Khor Al-Zubair Port, which was invested and operated by the alliance of Wahaj Al-Thuraya and Ard Al-Muheet. The alliance of the two companies passed the external audit and obtained two ISO quality system certificates in operating and work management systems 9001: 2015 and petroleum services management 29001. :2015. This achievement came as a result of the cooperation and solidarity of all departments, the continuous support of the Executive Director and the manager of the Quality Department, the efforts of the internal audit team and their commitment to the quality system. Thus, the services in force at these two berths are advanced and compatible with international standards for receiving ships and vessels related to petroleum products, and will increase the confidence of those dealing with the Iraqi services provided through the alliance of Wahaj Al-Thuraya and Ard Al-Muheet companies. The audit was conducted by the lead auditor at BUREAU VERITAS International / Dubai. The scope of the audit process included providing the company’s services to customers, as well as planning, and maintaining ports and infrastructure in a safe and innovative manner through the use of the latest methods in engineering, technology and materials used. The audit process included an evaluation of the management system, the quality management department, and other departments. Which enabled the company to obtain the international quality certificate ISO 9001:2015. And Management Standards System Certificate 29001:2015.
