* Khor Al-Zubair Port is considered one of the active ports in Iraq. That port is located in Basra Governorate in southern Of Iraq. The union of Wahaj Al-Thuraya and Ard Al-Muhit companies, worked to rehabilitate two Jetties (10 and 11), with the total length for these two Jetties being (560 metres).

  • Jetty (11,10)

    * Jetty (11), with a length of 220 metres, was allocated for import of gasoline, gas oil and kerosene. while Jetty (10) is divided into two main parts. The length of part (A) is 150 meters and part (B) is 190 meters, and both are used to export fuel oil and naphtha.

    Jetty surfaces covered by concrete and asphalt layer with 10m thicknessWith depths reach to 12m with low tide and there is parking areas for trucks reach to more than 2000 trucks

  • Jetty (11,10)

    * The surfaces and entrances of the each Jetty are covered with concrete and a layer of asphalt with a thickness of (10 cm), and the depths for each jetty reach to (12 meters) with low tide. And there is a Customized yards for truck parking for more than (2000 trucks).

  • Integrated security system

    *Our jetties with all our facilities inside it are subjected to an integrated security system managed by specialized employee, also its surrounded by a security fence with advanced CCTV system.

  • Health, safety and environment system

    *HSE procedures activated for each jetty included alarm system, firefighting system and all approved internationally safety requirements
