Berths no. 10 & 11, which are invested & operated by Wahaj Althuraya & Ardh Almuheet joint venture (WA), utilities Marine Loading Arms (MLA) to load & unload petroleum products.

Two Quality System Certificates (ISO)
Berth 10 and berth 11 in the port of Khor Al Zubair, which is invested and operated by a joint venture of Wahaj Al Thuraya and Ard Al-Muheet companies. The joint-venture of the two companies passed the external audit and obtained the ISO quality system certificates in the management of operating and work systems 9001: 2015 and the management of oil services 29001:2015.
This achievement came as a result of the cooperation and solidarity of all departments, the continuous support of the Executive Director and the Director of the Quality Department, and the efforts of the internal audit team and their commitment to the quality system.
Thus, the services provided in these two berths are advanced and compatible with international standards for receiving ships and ships related to oil products, and will increase the confidence of dealers with the Iraqi services provided through the joint-venture of Wahaj Al-Thuraya and Ocean Land companies.
The audit was conducted by the lead auditor at Bureau Veritas International / Dubai. The scope of the audit process included the provision of the company’s services to clients, in addition to planning, designing, building and maintaining ports and infrastructure in a safe and innovative manner using the latest methods in engineering, technology and materials used.
The audit process included evaluating the management system, quality management department and other departments, which enabled the company to obtain ISO quality system certificates in the management of operating and work systems 9001: 2015 and the management of oil services 29001:2015.

Increasing the depths in the bERTHS
On 5/11/2020, the work of increasing the depths in berths (10A), (10B) and (11) was completed, as the depths of these berths became (12) m at the lowest islands and with an extension of (100) m towards the middle of the navigation channel.
